Mindful Breast/Chestfeeding

Calm
Being a new parent can be physically and emotionally overwhelming, we can feel joy, pain, content and sadness all in one day! The transition to being a parent means that we need new ways to care for our mental health, to bring calm where we are feeling life is A LOT! Taking a mindful approach to your feeding journey can help you make the most of the great times and manage better with the hard times.

Connected
Connection is essential to our emotional wellbeing. Feeling connected to yourself at a time when you have to prioritise your baby can allow you to be more intuitive and confident in how you parent. Being connected to your baby will support your body in feeding, allow you to parent more responsively and bring focus at times of stress. Taking a conscious approach to the support you have or need will also allow you to connect better with your family, friends and health care professionals when you most need to.
