The Milkworks

  • Support with feeding your baby

How are you finding feeding your baby? Is it what you expected? Do you have questions? At the Milkworks we can explore your feeding journey and talk about how you might change things up to make this work for you and your baby. Get back to basics, understand what’s happening with your body and your baby and get the support you need.

  • Building Community

At The Milkworks community is at the heart of what I do, you can connect with other families breast or chest feeding, share experiences and take time out to be together.

  • Doors, Ears and Heart open for you, always.

The Milkworks is a drop in space, available to all breast/chest or combi feeding parents, their babies and your friends or family. There will always be a calm, compassionate and creative approach to you and the group.

“…the sessions are a really good way of sharing your experiences and getting advice and meeting others going through the same journey. I thought you were very knowledgeable and made me feel at ease x”

Statement of Intent, and Integrity (or the T&Cs)

The Milkworks is an informal support group offering access to information and resources about infant feeding.  Offering care and support to you while you are breast/chestfeeding; offering a space to build community and meet your people; access to holistic self-care through mindfulness, essential oils, and crystal healing.  I offer information and resources alongside compassionate care and support based on my experience as a parent, breastfeeding mum, peer supporter and a Breastfeeding Support Worker.

I’m a Breastfeeding Supporter, completing NHS peer supporter training in 2019 and a Mindful Breastfeeding Practitioner (2020).  I was a Breastfeeding Support Worker in my local statutory service 2021-2024.  I have a Infant Feeding Coach qualification and am registered with FEDANT (registration number 13570) categories Infant Feeding Practitioner and Breastfeeding Counsellor.

I endeavor to create a safe, calm, and comfortable space; a nourishing and nurturing environment for you to seek support, connect with you and your baby and other parents too.  Where I feel I am unable to help in your circumstances or you require more specialist support I will let you know and provide information and support for you to refer on to get what you and your baby need.

The Milkworks is offered at minimal cost to make it accessible to as many people as possible.  The fee aims to cover some of my costs in providing the venue or travel costs.  You can pay with cash or card at any session.

The Milkworks requires you to book each session as a record of attendees.  You have the opportunity to consent to be kept up to date on Green Moon Community activities during the booking process. You can also join the Whatsapp group for more information and connecting with your friends from the sessions.
